Before 2016, there was a single โ nominally โ non gender specific blond-haired โpersonโ emoji (it was clearly a man!), but since the push for a more diverse emoji set gained momentum, the โpersonโ split into two genders: the blond-haired man and this, the blond-haired woman. Across all platforms her hair is โ of course โ blond, a characteristic which does not change, even with the application of skin color modifications. On Apple iOS, Facebook, and EmojiOne platforms, her hair is tied back into a pony tail. All other versions have her hair worn down. The emoji is fairly versatile, and is used in any situation requiring a โ albeit blond-haired โ woman.
